Driving test timing study.

Updated: Jan 6, 2021

The DVSA have announced that they are to look at the timing of each segment of the driving test and the overall time it takes to conduct the test to make sure that the test is both efficient and effective as possible. An observer may sit in the back of the car while you are on your driving test. They will not play any part in the test other than simply to observe testing process. They have the right, by law to “sit in” on your test and you must be prepared for this eventuality. The study will take place at 127 test centres across the country from 16th July 2018 and October 2018 we are told.
