Why Not Train To Be A Driving Instructor?

This page is not about selling you a training course, being a driving instructor is not for everyone...

If you would like to know“the ins and outs”  then why not give us a call on 07895262777 and let's arrange to meet up for an informal chat.

What is required?

There are 3 qualifying exams and some mandatory training hours required at different stages of the process. This is where the costs come in, “time is money”.

How it all plays out.

  • Theory Test (we can asist you with this area but generally you can work on this in you own time without incurring any cost other than taking the exam at the end.  You are allowed as many attempts at this part as you need to pass.

  • A test of your driving ability covering all aspects to a really high standard. You are only allowed 3 attempts at this test.

  • A test of your teaching ability covering all aspects of driving, working with people from all different backgrounds and abilities with your client at the centre of the process. You are only allowed 3 attempts at this part to pass.

It should be noted; There is a qualifying period in that from the date that you pass part 1, the theory examination, you then have 2 years to complete the remaining 2 parts.
